Fabulous purses.

This weekend, I had the chance to meet up with some old/good friends for dinner and then lunch the following day. It is great to meet up with people who have known you for years. No false pretenses - everything is direct and straight-forward. What a night of laughter ;)

During dinner, BH noticed my fabulous purse - she had one too. Hers was a gift from her beloved bf. Mine was a gift from a perfect gentleman.

Looking back, A.C. was the greatest man in my life. A dear friend and one-time boyfriend. One of those people that eventhough we broke up, there are genuinely no hard feelings or bad memories. What sets him apart from all the super-men that I've dated?

A is one of those rare men who genuinely qualifies as a gentleman. He is kind-hearted, responsible, dutiful, respectful, and thoughtful. I guess I am writing this because he truly impressed me recently.

After 2 years of not seeing my face and barely talking except for the occasional email, he granted me a great favour. I needed some information and help for a dear friend of mine. And he came through without asking questions and without expectations of anything in return. One might suppose that he has residual feelings for me. But knowing him, he was there for me because he is that kind of person. That's all there is to it.

I hold every potential man in my lovelife to him because how we were, reminds me of how a man should really treat his woman.

Dear A, although you will never read this, the purse is a representation of you - generous, tasteful, classic, sophisticated, and timeless.
