"Mon non est Quebec"
This slogan won Trudeau the 1980 referendum. The message was that you were a true Quebecois by voting no to separation. Some trivia for those who were not propaganda-dized with Quebec History in Grade 10.
Sometimes I think it is the most sadistic love/hate relationship between la belle province and me. No matter how much it kicks my butt, I can't stop loving it.
I can be so posessive over it as well. Like a jealous lover, I cringe everytime I listen to outsiders criticize.

Weekend report.
Went to a movie with p-funk. Saw Maggie Cheung, in Clean. We joked that the movie was made for Montreal CBCs because we can follow the English/French/Cantonese script without sub-titles.
Went dancing with my sister at an old Italian/Arab spot...then Boustan's!
Saturday: went to coffee with the one and only, r. Later, met up with other singletons at the latest scotch-joint.
Sunday: church, brunch, walking around ste-cat's.
If it were not for my fave ladies back in the T-dot, I wouldn't miss it one bit.
