Les impressions.
Montréal, la belle ville est une bonne place pour s'amuser...pour fêter...mais elle ne l'est pas pour travailler.
I'll tell you the following reasons why:
Firstly, when you think of the Bahamas - do you think of cubicles, suits, and ties?? HELL NO! You think of the beach, dancing, drinking, partying. Well I would argue the same thing for Montreal. Working in the city of fun sucks.
Deuxièment, getting to work is enervant en crime. The traffic is horrible - people drive their SUVs like they're on bicycles.
BUT!
les gens sont chaleureux, accueillants, sympatiques, fins fins fins!! My colleagues are the best - they really know how to "prend ça relaxe". They have such a positive disposition as well. For instance my boss said to me today, "Mélanie, j'ai parlé avec les gars d'informatique. Ton ordi, tu vas l'avoir prochainement!" I thought - wow this guy is following up. He's awesome. Then I walked away and realized that "prochainement" can mean "in 2 hours time", "in a week", "sometime soon". We're on EURO time from now on. OUAIS.
