Tuesday night conversation between an old married couple.

M: "hey, remember this necklace you gave me when we first started dating? remember how much i did NOT like it at the beginning - how i thought it was ugly? well guess what? It's growing on me and I am starting to like it now"

PP: "cool"

M: "yea, sorta how I used to think that you were not that good looking but now the more we are married, the more I think you are handsome"

PP: "WOW! that is the sweetest thing you have said to me since we got married!!"

M: "whatever"

PP: "does this mean that eventually, you will change and grow to like fishing?"

M: "maybe when I am 50 years old..."

PP: "so that's a future yes!"

writer's note: in any marriage, there is a giver and a taker - a negative and a positive. guess who is the positive one in our marriage??
