Today is "family day" at work, which means "sleep in day", "blog day", "hair cut day" for me.
I love love love my hairdresser. He's so talented that since my first haircut with him in Jan 03, I realized why Heidi Klum would marry a nasty bearded fat bastard hairdresser dude. But my guy is much better because he's flaming Gay and only speaks Japanese, which means I don't have to engage in stupid conversation. So our relationship is purely client-hairdresser. Phewf.
An important side note in my story is that in over a year of patronage, today was the first time I was actually on time.
Moving along - I've been pretty bored lately, so I just told him to go crazy and cut-off all my hair. Hideki is an artist with an eye for perfection and an honest heart. He always tells me what works for me or doesn't... "NO! Short hair not so pretty." So I negotiated with him in short succinct sentences and we reached a compromise. He gave me a shorter look (mid-neck) with lots of layers and movement. I think its funky. I likey.
Then I come home and turn on the TV and the first thing I see is Tia Carrera with her long lucious Asian hair. And I just have to think to myself "Dammmmnaaation!!"
