New toy!

friends, family, colleagues, & e-stalkers:

after living a summer of complete stress, i have resigned to the fact that i am a disgusting zit person. i now shamefully wear zits as an unclassy accessory. i am now that freaky gross girl that has to over-compensate with funny stories and "personality" just so that people don't stare at the facial volcano.

i need to detox, de-stress and just leave the uncontrollables to God.

so what are the things that i need to surrender to God?

4. the logistics of moving while wedding planning & adapting to new job
3. my ZITS
2. selling my house (fackity fack fack)
1. present job (fun factor daily deteriorates and i am currently left with a pile of shiet)

well it is a good strong tie between #1 & #2. Also i just thought of another thing, the safety of my clothes and shoes during the move.

okay now that i have evacuated all my stress on this blog i realize that there is one thing that i never have to stress over. and this one thought in itself helps put things in perspective.

TOMO phase 1



so this is phase 1 of packing...yet again. since i left my parents house, this trusty box of "worthless but precious personal items" has followed me around. reality is hitting home.

so now having ranted about wedding killers...

tonight was great. the DJ was so amazing that PP and I closed the dance floor.

G&G looked so happy. it was a blessing to be a part of their wedding. here are some memories of the lovely event.

babies = wedding killers.

so at tonight's wedding, these babies kept ruining the ceremony. some kept crying. others made rude noises throughout lovely, touching speeches. others would do something which required their parents to rush them in and out of the hall.

it was unbearable to which point these babies were being wedding killers.

however, there was one that redeemed himself. cause he made me lol. cheers to sammy who ran over to the desert table and stuffed his face with chocolate.

it's shameful - but recently i have completely unstoppably obsessed with gossip rags. The Economists pile up high unread as i run out to buy the most mind-numbing, shallow, smut.

sigh - confessions of a ditz.

Summer of Weddings!

So far this summer, I got invited to 7 weddings and of course, Paul and I also decided to tie the knot. Unfortunately, I had to respectfully decline 2 weddings (I was already scheduled to be in Vancouver for PA's wedding and KM's is the same weekend as G & G's. G&G got PP and I to be bouncers at their wedding)

Anyways, this weekend I flew all the way to Thunder Bay to witness the marriage of my dear friend Shannon to Mr. Michael Kidd.

Thunder Bay is far. So far up north that the fauna is all tundra. (remember grade 9 geographie?? no maple trees - just a city full of christmas trees!)
